How to get more viewers on BongaCams: in the room and outside it

BongaCams lists rooms by CamScore, region by region. What moves it, the room tools that keep viewers, where outside viewers come from, and how clips from your shows bring them back.

BongaCams ranks rooms by CamScore, a rating in points that it keeps separately for four regions: North America, Western Europe, the CIS and other countries. The score sets where your room sits in each region's main list, and the room shows there only while you are online. BongaCams' site for models says the score rises mainly with what you earn on the site and the time you spend online, and that a good connection counts too. It also says the score updates every ten minutes and can fall sharply after more than two days offline.

So the work has two sides, as on any cam site: give the people in the room reasons to stay, and bring people in from outside.

What moves CamScore

BongaCams lists the ways to raise it: earn more tokens, spend more time online, keep a good connection, and bring in new members and models through its referral program (below). Two more things are worth knowing:

  • Broadcast through OBS. BongaCams says streaming through OBS adds 3,000 CamScore points and the OBS-VirtualCam plugin 2,000 more, and that an HD+ icon marks rooms broadcast at 720p or higher next to their preview on the main page.
  • Your first two weeks. BongaCams says new models get a two-week promotional period from their first broadcast, and start with CamScore points based on the site average. A regular schedule from the first show makes the most of it.

BongaCams also runs weekly regional Queen of Queens contests, a TOP 50 for couples, a TOP 10 for men and trans models and an hourly rating of the top chat rooms: more places where a room can be seen.

Inside the room

  • A regular schedule. Regulars fill a room early, and they come back when they know when you are live. BongaCams also suggests showing your streaming schedule on your profile.
  • Prices people can see. Put your prices in the room's Topic or in the tip menu, which a robot shows to the room. A countdown chatbot can show a token goal, how much has come in and how much is left; only public tips count toward it.
  • Talk to the room. Turn the microphone on and call members by their nickname, two tips from BongaCams itself. The built-in chat translator lets you answer people who write in another language.
  • Bots, a toy and moderators. Chatbots can greet people, thank them for tips, block spam and run games, a Lovense chatbot works with your toy, and moderators can look after the chat.
  • The picture. A good camera, light and angle; BongaCams says a clearer picture gets more tips.
  • The end of the show. Before you leave, send the end-of-show notice: a ready-made message that stays in chat for five minutes and can give the date and time of your next show. Members can also subscribe to alerts that reach them when you go online.

Outside the room

  • X (Twitter). Announce shows and post teasers, labelled as sensitive media; clips downloaded from WizeClip make good ones. The X traffic page covers the rules.
  • Reddit. Some subreddits are made for cam creators, each with its own way of posting (titles, verification, links); see the Reddit traffic page.
  • Your subscribers. Fans on OnlyFans or Fansly are the warmest audience a room can get. Tell them when you are live.
  • Clips from your own shows. The source that scales, below.

Clips from your shows

Your recorded shows are full of moments that already worked on a live audience. Record your own broadcast locally, and those moments become short clips on the tube sites, RedGIFs and the short-form adult feeds. Each platform profile links to your room, so the clips keep sending viewers long after the show.

On BongaCams, OBS can do both jobs at once: it sends the broadcast that BongaCams rewards with CamScore points, and it can record the same show on your own computer while you stream.

WizeClip scores the recording, cuts the strongest moments into vertical clips, writes titles and tags for each platform and posts them from your own accounts. From a Chaturbate or Stripchat stream to clips walks through a full week.

WizeClip does not post to cam sites: it posts the clips to ten adult platforms, and your profile on each one sends viewers back to your room.

The referral program

BongaCams' referral program gives you banners and links that bring people to the site or straight to your room, and it also rewards you for the models you refer. If you promote your room on other sites anyway, read its terms on the models' site to see how your links can count as referrals.

The paid traffic you can measure is advertising: the adult ad networks sell banner and video impressions on tube sites, and it stops the day the budget does.

Measure what matters

Track tips per show and new followers per week rather than the viewer count, and change one thing at a time so you can see what made the difference.
