A live show is the best raw material a cam creator has and the least used. It is long, it is unscripted, and it contains the exact moments that made people tip. Almost all of it disappears the moment the stream ends. Recording it and cutting it into clips turns one show into a week of promotion, and unlike the show itself, the clips keep working while you are offline.
This guide covers the whole path from a Chaturbate or Stripchat recording to clips on the platforms that send subscribers.
A BongaCams, CamSoda or MyFreeCams show works the same way, as long as you record it yourself.
Record the show, not a screen capture of it
Record your own broadcast, locally: this is about your show, not a copy of someone else's stream. Use the highest-quality recording your setup allows and keep the full file. Many creators only keep a phone-quality screen recording, which looks fine in the room and falls apart once it is cropped to vertical. If you record locally from the camera source rather than from the site's player, the clips are noticeably sharper.
Eight to twenty minutes of recording is enough. Longer is fine, but the number of usable moments does not grow linearly with length. WizeClip's plans each process videos up to a set length (the free plan only short ones), and the pricing page lists them.
Find the moments that held attention
A show has three kinds of moments: the ones that made people tip, the ones that made the chat move, and the ones that look good but did nothing. Only the first two make promo clips.
If you have the chat log, the tip bursts mark the timestamps. If you do not, scoring the video itself works: the AI analyses the whole video and finds the strongest moments without anyone scrubbing it. Scoring is the reason a pipeline can cut a show you have not watched back.
How many candidates a show gives depends on the show and on your minimum score; keep the strongest.
Cut for the platform, not for the room
The show was horizontal and long. The clips are vertical and short, and each destination wants something slightly different:
- Pornhub, xHamster, EroMe: 15 to 60 seconds, vertical, one clear moment, a searchable title. See the Pornhub page.
- RedGIFs: a loop that starts and ends on the same energy, a few seconds long, tagged rather than titled. See the RedGIFs page.
- FikFap, TikPorn, Waptap: a feed clip that opens on movement in the first second, with a short caption.
- Xfree, Sharesome, XXXFollow: a clip plus a line of text that speaks to people who already follow you.
The vertical clip specs guide lists the exact ratio, length and caption limits per platform.
Decide where the link points
Clips from a live show can send people to two places: the live room, or the subscription page. Sending everyone to the room only works while you are online. The usual split is a link that points at the room during your schedule and at OnlyFans or Fansly outside it, so a clip that gets seen at 3 a.m. still converts.
Post on a cadence and read the results
Publish a few clips a day rather than the whole batch at once, ramp new accounts slowly, and after four to six weeks compare platforms on subscribers, not views. The video sites keep earning for months; the feeds decide in the first hours.
The automated version
WizeClip takes the recording of the show and does everything after the recording: it scores it, cuts the strongest moments, packages them per destination, writes titles, tags and captions, publishes from your own accounts on a calendar you plan. Put a separate OnlyFans tracking link on each platform's profile and OnlyFans shows which platform sent subscribers. The platforms page lists the ten destinations and what happens on each.
